ADAPTIL Calm Soothing Collar for Dogs, Size M/L, for Medium and Large Dogs

ADAPTIL Calm soothing collar for dogs is suitable to help dogs feel calmer in various stressful situations, both indoors and outdoors, such as during training, while traveling, or during veterinary visits.

Adaptil®: Adaptil® soothing dog pheromone reproduces the natural calming pheromones that dogs release during feeding. These pheromones, which are released from the sebaceous glands in the chest area, play a crucial role in calming puppies. Their main function is to soothe puppies in stressful situations and create confidence, especially when they are in new environments or experiencing new events. Scientific studies show that the calming effectiveness of these pheromones continues into adulthood in dogs. Based on this discovery, veterinary science developed D.A.P. (Dog Appeasing Pheromone), which accurately reproduces the properties of natural maternal calming pheromones. The Adaptil® collar uses this technology to promote the well-being of puppies and adult dogs in potentially stressful or anxious situations. Its versatility allows for use in both indoor and outdoor spaces, providing continuous protection.

Many dogs suffer from various circumstances that trigger fear and anxiety. The most common situations that can cause stress in dogs include thunderstorms, fireworks, loud noises, encounters with new people or unfamiliar dogs, the presence of vehicles, exploring new and unfamiliar places, training sessions, and other situations perceived as threatening. The effectiveness of Adaptil® in these situations is confirmed by the fact that 80% of pet owners report an improvement in their dogs' ability to cope with stressful situations.

For optimal use of the Adaptil® Calm collar, it is important to carefully follow the instructions. First, you need to choose the appropriate collar size based on your dog's neck size. The collar is available in different sizes to ensure a perfect fit. After proper positioning and enough room for the animal's comfort, the collar can be worn continuously for 30 days, after which it should be replaced. The Adaptil® Calm Collar is particularly useful in stressful situations such as travel, training sessions, veterinary visits, or during loud noises. It is important to emphasize that it does not represent a universal solution for all behavioral disorders in dogs. In some cases, it may be beneficial to combine wearing the collar with other training methods or behavioral therapies. We always recommend consulting a veterinarian or qualified dog trainer before starting with the Adaptil® Calm Collar to ensure maximum effectiveness and safety for your pet.
