The IDC Stealth harness is designed for the special needs of working dogs. It is based on the fundamentals of IDC harnesses but also offers some very useful innovations.

• More comfort: The new grip system allows free air circulation under the harness. The neoprene grip cover lifts the saddle part by about half a centimeter, allowing air to flow freely between the back and the harness.
• More safety: The break-resistant buckle is equipped with a safety latch that serves as noise protection for working dogs, but also prevents opening in case of a potential buckle break. The non-slip grip provides secure control over the dog, and the special guide prevents snagging and access by unauthorized persons.
• Additional Velcro zones: The increased Velcro zones on the sides and chest allow for special dog marking.

IMPORTANT! Side bags cannot be attached to IDC Stealth harnesses!

Instructions for use:

1. Run the leash through the reinforced handle of the harness.
2. Adjust the harness according to your dog's size.
3. Secure the harness on the dog with the buckle.
4. Use removable tags to identify your dog.
5. Use the additional handle and non-slip design for better control of the dog.
6. Add any desired reflective accessories or badges.
7. Keep an eye on the dog during the walk.

What to do if the dog escapes from the harness? JULIUS-K9® harnesses are designed for easy use and application. These types of harnesses are most commonly used for walks in the city or when working with service dogs. However, due to improper use of the leash, size adjustment, or harness regulation, some dogs may still escape. If the leash is accidentally placed in the opposite direction of the harness and is pulled over the dog's head, the harness may come off. This can happen if... the harness is set too loosely, the dog starts to move backward and tries to escape, or the dog stays behind and is pulled on the leash.

WARNING: Harnesses serve for gentle and gentle guiding of the dog on the leash, for holding the dog, and for allowing the owner to keep it in case of emergency. The harness is not a means of coercion!

When standing against the dog, do not pull it towards you and never pull it behind you, as this may cause injury. Improper leash handling can cause the dog to try to escape. If the dog escapes from the harness in such a case, improper leash handling may be the reason for this.

How to walk the dog safely with a harness: If the dog is prone to panic or feels insecure near traffic, it is recommended to use the top handle of the harness to hold the dog. In this case, it is a good idea to use both a collar and a harness together with a double carabiner leash. This way, the dog can be led more securely with one hand, and the collar does not strain the dog's neck when it needs to be held suddenly.

Harness adjustment: The right size and proper adjustment are essential for any type of harness. Before the first use of the harness, it is very important to carefully read and follow the instructions for use. For harnesses, the strap should be adjusted so that only one palm can fit between the inner part of the harness and the dog's back. The chest strap should be adjusted so that four fingers can fit between the dog's front legs and the chest strap of the harness. Harnesses set too loosely can be dangerous, as the dog may escape from them. But it is also important to avoid a harness that is set too tightly.

How to properly lead the dog on a leash: During walks, the leash should always be loose and held tightly only when there is a valid reason, for example, if you need to suddenly restrain your dog due to traffic.
